After
the
war
began,
Cliff
Gruver
couldn't
get
any
more
new
cars
to
sell,
so
he
closed
the
garage
in
Ogilvie
and
went
into
trucking.
In
the
winter
of
1941/42,
he
had
two
trucks
hauling
logs
at
Big
Falls.
This
is
the
same
rig
that
moved
houses
in
the
summer.
The
writing
is
on
the
photos.

His
youngest
brother,
Ralph
Gruver,
worked
with
him.
Also
up
there
driving
were
Roy
Tatro
and
Alton
Sjedin
(sp?).
The
trucks
ran
twenty-four
hours
a
day.
Pat
White
went
up
there
to
see
about
working
with
Cliff,
but
decided
to
forego
the
joys
of
a
Big
Falls
winter.
