Evaluation criteria for writing projects by advanced and graduate students in English

Intended outcome: Advanced students of English will demonstrate ability to create a writing project to achieve chosen purposes of their own and to carry out that project through research and writing to achieve high quality results, showing effective use of writing skills, knowledgeability, control of form and genre (written work is appropriate for its context, whether literary, academic, or professional), awareness of audience, and effective application of skills in editing and grammar.
