Jeff and Judy's wedding --Checklist, DRIVING DIRECTIONS TO THE CAMP, Weekend schedule, local activities list, driving times scale

Checklist: What to bring to Camp Gualala

COMFORTABLE walking shoes

shoes or sandals you wouldn't mind dipping into the ocean

Wedding garb suitable  for sitting on an outdoor wooden bench.

Bedding (or request bedding from us) - the camp does not provide any

air mattresses if you need them (do you have an inflater?)

        sleeping bags are recommended

alternatively, sheets and blankets for twin beds

        pillow

padding for the mattress if you are concerned about this

towels

swimming outfits, especially for children

insect repellent (we will supply some, in case you can't carry it)

sunscreen (we will supply some, in case you can't carry it)

Favorite games - board games?

a good book - or whatever you need to loaf in the woods

Good DVD movies for a group to project in the Lodge. Let us know if you think you would use a projector.

photos?

perhaps copies of photos from past larks with Jeff and/or Judy that could be used to create a scrapbook

bathrobe (bath areas are mostly not very private)

Cautions:

Camp staff know of no dangerous or poisonous things at Camp Gualala--except for the vine Poison Oak. Stay on cleared paths to be sure to avoid this.

Also, California has an epidemic of Sudden Oak Death, a fungus that has killed oaks at the Camp. We will supply bleach to use on the soles of your shoes as you leave the camp so you don't infect other Valley Oak trees you would walk by, or to use if you step right on any infected trees.

No swimming is allowed unless lifeguard is on duty, period.
