Jeanne Lacourt is a Professor of American Indian Studies at St. Cloud State University (SCSU) where she has been on faculty since 1999. She earned her Ph.D. from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She is also a candidate-in-training with the Inter Regional Society of Jungian Analysts (IRSJA) where she is pursing a diploma as a Jungian Analyst. She has served as former chair of the Ethnic Studies Department and as interim chair for the department of Social Work. Her current work focuses on the intersections of indigenous and tribal ideologies with analytical (depth) psychology in the rich tradition of Carl Jung. While she currently resides in St. Cloud, Minnesota, her home community is with the Menominee Indian Tribe of Wisconsin.
