The Sauk River
Watershed Research Program was established in 2003
to investigate problems
experienced by the Sauk River and its
watershed. The research program was also
developed to give undergraduate and
graduate research students the
opportunity to gain valuable research
experience in the field and the
laboratory, and to apply theories and
techniques learned in the classroom to
meaningful research problems.
To date,
researchers in this program have
established numerous studies and results from
which have been disseminated
through many
venues, including international
meetings.
