Dr. Niaz Ahmed
Professor & Director of Graduate Studies

Dr.
Niaz Ahmed is a Senior Fulbright Scholar and has a Ph.D. in Communication
Studies. His current research interests lie in
the areas of international and cross-cultural mass communication,
media independence and fairness, new media and convergence, and
contemporary global issues.
He is currently completing a book titled
Metamorphosis of Electronic
Media in Asia.
He is also writing a novel titled The Tyranny of Emotions. This
year, he has undertaken a new book project titled
The
State of the World and the Fate of Humanity.
His first book was titled
Cross-Cultural Content Analysis of Advertising, published by
Universal Publishers.
