Barred Owls

Philip has a barred owl pair for neighbors.  He hears them call most nights and he encounters them around Lindenwood often and often.  The evening of May 23^rd, just for fun we copied some barred-owl calls and played them on a speaker from the well platform.  The obliging duo soon showed up, immensely curious, flitting among the oaks and walnuts that surround Virginia’s house, giving us all a good eyeful of owl:
